The past few weeks I have been struggling a little bit with the fact that I am about to turn 30. It seems so crazy. I feel really strange about it. Not because I think that I should be married and have kids and all of that but I think maybe because it just seems so strange to be 30 when I remember being so much younger and knowing people that were 30 that seemed so much older. Also to see everyone else growing older around you makes me a bit sad sometimes. BUT with all of that said, I will acknowledge this sad feeling but also enjoy where I am, who I am, and the many blessings I have still yet to experience, now just another year older. So Friday morning I decided that this year, in honor of the Big 3-0, I will be celebrating not only my Birthday but also my BirthMonth. One day for every year I have been alive. Each day of this month I have to do something special for myself or out of my ordinary routine. It can be anything from dinner with friends to a pedicure to laying out on the beach. It started on Friday July 2nd and will continue on for the entire month. Here goes :)
