I suppose I need to have a marking for my 3 decades of life. Last night I got another tattoo. I have been wanting one for a long time but wasn't sure what to get but thought it would be on my foot. UNTIL...last month I saw a girl with writing down her arm and thought it looked so cool. So I searched for a quote that really meant something to me and found it! I wanted something having to do with my arm and reaching out or giving. It now reads, "For it is in giving that we receive..." Not giving to get material things or acceptance and love in return but giving and receiving something inside yourself, receiving God. It's part of my calling and I hope to always be a giving person. I now express a part of myself on the outside.
